Our wellbeing is so much more than just how we physically look or feel.

We need to feel fulfilled in our social lives, career, and community as well. The COVID-19 pandemic rattled us to the core and changed how we value our quality of life. I spoke with four professionals in different fields with different day-to-day routines to understand how well-being has changed for each of them during the pandemic.

The pandemic has left many of us with chinks in our armor, but it also allowed us to repair with self-care.


As our interviewees said, it's not always about the expensive facial or massage – it's about finding time for the little things that matter to you.

Self-care is how you work on yourself from the inside out, dealing with your internal demons to become a better you and a better advocate for what you care about.
